60 years ago, when I graduated from high school, I received my first real painting as a gift from my parents. I didn't know that I, too, would become an artist 35 years later. When my garden produced so many yellow flowers and lemons I decided to arrange them with my yellow rose painting by Beverly Carrick as a tribute to her inspiration. Thus, A Study in Yellow was created.
